Creating Dialogues
New dialogues can be created:
- For clients who have not been invited to a dialogue yet.
- For clients who have completed all previous dialogues.
Each client can only have new dialogues created up to their maximum limit. For pay-as-you-go users, this limit is 1. For subscription users, the limit is specified in their contract.
Step 1: Log in to the BQ Portal
If you are not already logged in, click here to sign in with your credentials.
Step 2: Select a client
Select a client from the client list.
To find a specific client, enter their first and/or last name in the search box at the top left.
To select a client, click on the row displaying the client’s name.
Depending on whether the client has completed a dialogue, you will see one of two screens. Proceed to the appropriate step.
Step 3: Starting a new dialogue for clients who haven’t completed any dialogue yet
Click the “New Dialogue” button.
That’s it, the dialogue has been created. Proceed to Step 4.
Step 3: Start a new dialogue for clients who have already completed one or more dialogues.
If the client has already completed a dialogue, their dashboard will appear. To create a new dialogue, click the “Manage Client and Dialogues” button.
In the sidebar that appears, click the “Start New Dialogue” button.
If a new dialogue cannot be created, the “Start New Dialogue” button will be disabled, and one of two messages will appear:
You cannot create a new dialogue because the client has not completed all previous dialogues. Either delete the unfinished dialogue or remind the client to complete it. (Reminding Clients of their Dialogues).
You cannot create a new dialogue because the client has reached the maximum number of dialogues. Contact BQ to unlock additional dialogues.
Step 4: Decide how to invite the client and manage dialogue settings
Clicking the “Start New Dialogue” button opens a new page. Here, you can choose how to invite or remind your client and manage dialogue settings.
To invite your client, use any of the green buttons. For more details, refer to the explanations next to each button.
By clicking “Optional: Set automatic reminders,” you can choose whether the client should receive periodic reminders to complete their dialogue. This option is OFF by default.
To change this setting, simply toggle the switch. You can adjust this for each dialogue as long as the client hasn’t completed it.
